Student Visa (F-1) Application Support
Our school supports you free of charge with the F-1 visa procedures and with advice to prepare for your visa interview. Please note that the school does not prepare documents or book interview appointments on your behalf.
Whether a visa is issued is decided by the U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

Housing Support
We help you find a rental home in Hawaiʻi, from gathering listings to going with you to viewings, helping with application paperwork, and guiding you through move-in. You can apply even if you are not studying at Academia.
A Housing Support fee (for interpreting, accompanying you, and help with paperwork), based on the monthly rent of the home you sign for.
Note: The Standard plan of Academia Tutor School’s school transfer plans (public and private) includes suggestions on where to live based on your child’s school. Help with finding a home, from the search to signing the lease, is provided through this Housing Support (fee above).
Car Purchase Support
We help you find a car, go with you to the dealer, and support you through the purchase contract.

Your child’s school
From choosing a school to completing the transfer. Our sister school, Academia Tutor School, explains each plan in detail.
School Visit Tour for Your Child
While you visit Hawaiʻi, we tour schools that may suit your child. We ask about your educational approach and wishes and choose schools to recommend. On the day, we drive you from your hotel in Waikīkī or Ala Moana (if you are staying elsewhere, we meet at Ala Moana). You visit 3 to 4 schools in a day.
Public and Private School Transfer Plans
We support the transfer process, from choosing a school and admission documents to arranging health exams and vaccinations and communicating with the school. Standard also includes suggestions on areas to live (for finding a home through signing the lease, please use Housing Support).

One-year support
Our local staff support your life and your child’s school life in Hawaiʻi throughout the year.
Hawaiʻi Study Abroad Local Support Plan (1 year)
Airport transfer, an orientation to daily life (banking, phone, transportation, and more), a monthly meeting, and 24-hour help with problems and emergencies. The Premium Plan adds school-related support, such as communicating with the school and attending meetings on your behalf.

Rush and emergency fees
If you use a transfer plan or a one-time service, the following fees apply to short-notice applications and after-hours emergency help (the Local Support Plan includes 24-hour emergency help).
