Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Japanese beginners: 40–50%
- Advanced English speakers: around 10%
- Local children from Hawaii: around 20%
- Children from Korea and China: around 20–30%
Some local children from Hawaii participate and speak English fluently, while others may speak little or no English, or have basic conversational ability.
- Kids Program: Activity-based and designed so children of all English levels can enjoy.
- Junior Program: Mornings focus on fun activities, while afternoons include private group lessons that create situations where students are encouraged to speak English, which may feel slightly challenging at times.
For children who already speak English (for example, those attending international schools in Japan), we encourage them to actively make friends with local children from Hawaii, not only communicate with teachers.
