Teaching English as a Second Language at Academia
Recruitment of ESL instructors is based on the teaching needs of the school as they change over time (although qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume for consideration at any time). Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and relevant experience teaching English as a second/foreign language. Preferably, candidates will have a degree in an area of immediate relevance to ESL instruction (e.g., TESOL/TEFL, linguistics, English, or English Education) or an ESL certificate from an accredited college or university or other reputable organization that requires 120 hours or more of intensive study and practical teaching experience in the classroom.
