Kapiolani Community College – Academia Language School

Bridge Program

kapiolani-community-college

Academia Language School is proud to have a longstanding formal relationship with Kapiolani Community College, a college that is part of the prestigious University of Hawaii System.  As a consequence of this relationship, in addition to earning credit toward degree programs at Kapiolani Community College itself, qualifying Academia Language School graduates may also earn college course credit that will transfer to any of the University of Hawaii campuses in the state or to other colleges and universities throughout the United States of America.

Academia Language School students who pass Advanced Conversation II can transfer directly from Academia into credit-bearing coursework at Kapiolani Community College. There is no need to take the TOEFL or any other test of English language ability. Students need only bring a University of Hawaii-Kapiolani Community College Verification of Enrollment form to the Academia Language School Director of Language Programs and request a transcript of grades and a letter of explanation. These can be presented to Kapiolani Community College along with all other required materials at the time of application for admission.
